The museum is very child-friendly, with a Sensory Trail, lots of hands-on activities, baby changing facilities and a lift for buggies. Sensory maps, bags and ear defenders are always available to borrow for free from the reception area. A ramp and a lift provide wheelchair access to all areas of the museum, and accessible toilets are available. |

The new Mineral and Nature Galleries offer immersive, family-friendly visitor experiences, alongside an exciting programme of exhibitions and events.
