This award-winning museum and art gallery is home to a treasure-trove of art and artefacts that tell the story of all that is unique and captivating about Cornwall. The Mineral and Nature Galleries offer immersive and family-friendly visitor experiences and, with an exciting programme of exhibitions and interactive events, there’s always a great reason to return.
The museum is open Tuesday - Saturday during terms time, and also opens on Mondays during school holidays. Opening hours are 10am - 4pm.
Adult admission is £10.00, which includes an annual pass allowing you to return as many times as you like within a year. Under 18s are free.
There is a lift for disabled access to the second floor, which can also be used for buggies and prams. Baby changing facilities are available.
Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery is a family-friendly museum, and was awarded Best Small Museum in the Kids in Museums Family Friendly Museum Award 2023. As well as interactive displays and discovery trails, young children can enjoy various games and dressing up activities related to the museum's collections. During school holidays there's a busy programme of workshops, children's theatre, and hands-on activities to get stuck into.
