Lappa Valley’s much-loved Fireworks Spectaculars return on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2026, promising two memorable evenings of trains, play and spectacular fireworks for the whole family.
The evening begins at Benny Halt, where visitors board one of Lappa Valley’s trains for a special journey through the Cornish countryside as daylight fades. On arrival at East Wheal Rose, families will discover the historic 19th-century Engine House beautifully illuminated and the park decorated with atmospheric festoon lighting.
Visitors will have time to enjoy a selection of Lappa Valley’s popular activities before the main display. The Engine Shed Indoor Soft Play, Adventure Golf and outdoor adventure play areas will be open, alongside rides on the Main Railway and Lakeside Railway.
As darkness falls, everyone will gather within the designated viewing area for an impressive fireworks display centred around the historic Engine House. The striking setting, reflected in the nearby Boating Lake, helps make this one of the most distinctive family fireworks events in Cornwall.
The Engine Shed Café will be open throughout the evening, serving a selection of hot and cold food, snacks, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and warming winter drinks. Glow sticks, illuminated glasses, headbands and other light-up products will also be available to purchase.
Following the display, families can continue enjoying the Engine Shed Indoor Soft Play or stop for something to eat and drink before catching a return train to Benny Halt. Trains will operate regularly after the fireworks to help visitors return to the car park as quickly as possible.
Tickets cost £11.25 per person for adults and children aged three and over, while children under three can attend free of charge.
Lappa Valley’s Fireworks Spectaculars are strictly pre-booking only, and admission cannot be offered to anyone arriving without a reservation. Lappa Valley Memberships, discount cards, vouchers and complimentary tickets are not valid for this special event.
For safety reasons, sparklers are not permitted. The outdoor play areas and Lakeside Railway will also close shortly before the display begins, when all visitors must enter the designated viewing area.
These popular evenings have limited capacity, so early booking is strongly recommended.
