A delightful small Elizabethan manor house with fine interiors and delightful garden, Trerice is an architectural gem hidden away from the world in a web of narrow lanes and still somehow caught in the spirit of its age.
Trerice remains little changed by the advances in building fashions over the centuries, thanks to long periods under absentee owners. Behind the Dutch-style gabled facade are ornate fireplaces, elaborate plaster ceilings and a collection of English furniture of the highest quality.
Today the renowned stillness and tranquillity of Trerice is much prized by visitors. Walk around our beautiful garden and explore the stunning views. Come and see our knot garden as it continues to take shape. Trerice also features a shop, tea-room and second-hand bookshop.
Due to the small nature of the garden at Trerice only assistance dogs are welcome in the property. However, there are local dog walks at Holywell and Crantock near Newquay.
Trerice is open on Saturdays and Sundays only from 1 November - 12 December, and then opens daily from 13 December until 23 December. The estate is closed from 24 December to 25 February 2022.
Trerice fully reopens to the public on 26 February 2022.
