A delightful small Tudor manor house with fine interiors and delightful garden, Trerice is an architectural gem hidden away from the world in a web of narrow lanes and still somehow caught in the spirit of its age.
Trerice remains little changed by the advances in building fashions over the centuries, thanks to long periods under absentee owners. Behind the Dutch-style gabled façade are ornate fireplaces, elaborate plaster ceilings, a Tudor bed and a collection of English furniture of the highest quality.
Today the renowned stillness and tranquillity of Trerice is much prized by visitors. Walk around our beautiful garden and explore the stunning views. Come and see our knot garden as it continues to take shape. Trerice also features a shop, tea-room and second-hand bookshop.
There are also numerous events that run throughout the season, from talks, tours, costume days, seasonal trails and family fun and games.
Due to the small nature of the garden at Trerice only assistance dogs are welcome in the property. However, there are local dog walks at Holywell and Crantock near Newquay.
Trerice is open daily from 10:.0am to 4..0pm until 29 October 2023. From 4 November - 16 December Trerice will be open during weekends only, then will open daily from 16 - 23 December 2023.
