The Eden Project is like nowhere on Earth. A global garden, educational charity and social enterprise all in one. Begin your journey in the Outdoor Gardens, where wild landscapes are juxtaposed with Europe’s largest collection of useful plants – from food crops to medicines, spanning across an impressive 20 acres.

At the Eden Project, you can journey around the world, from the Mediterranean to the rainforest, without leaving the UK. Kids will love Eden’s space-age Biomes, weird and wonderful plants, intriguing artworks and inventive play spaces, including Giant Marble Runs, Minibeast Mansion and Nature’s Playground. Eden offers a full day of adventure – brimming with imaginative, sensory play.

Experience the sights and scents of the Mediterranean Biome, where you’ll find beautiful flower displays and seasonal crops. Then immerse yourself in the steamy heat of the Rainforest Biome, the gleaming green jewel in Eden’s crown. Here you can marvel at the breath taking view of the treetops from the Canopy Walkway, inside one of the largest indoor rainforests in the world.

Book in advance to get the best value tickets to the Eden Project. Your entrance fee funds Eden’s charitable work. During school holidays, please pre-book online to avoid disappointment. All General Admission tickets come with a free annual pass. Pay once, visit for a year.

Frequently asked questions

I only want to visit the Eden Project once – do I have to book an Annual Pass?

Yes, our General Tickets are also Annual Passes that allow you unlimited entry to Eden for a whole year. Many people only visit us once in a year but offering Passes in this way allows us to treat your ticket fee as a donation and therefore increase funding for our charitable work. Find out more about how this works. Throughout the year, we occasionally launch limited-time day ticket promotions but we can’t guarantee any availability for when you’re planning to visit. Check our Book tickets webpage for information about any offers we are running at the moment. Please see our Memberships and Locals’ Passes (valid for residents of Cornwall and Devon) as other forms of admission that offer you even better value to visit Eden. When purchasing tickets, please consider ticking the Gift Aid box at checkout as you could increase your donation to our charity by 25% at no extra cost for you. Find out more about Gift Aid.

Do children need a ticket?

Up to four under-5s per accompanying adult get into Eden for free. A Child Ticket must be purchased for each additional child over this limit. A Child Ticket is required for all children aged between 5–15. We also offer a Student Ticket for anyone with a valid student ID. Children aged 0–13 must be accompanied by an adult with the exception of Members and Patrons, all visitors to Eden are advised to book a time slot in advance of each visit, including under 5s, to guarantee admission. Can I buy tickets using Tesco Clubcard vouchers?

Yes, you can find out how to exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers for Day Entry tickets to the Eden Project here. Please note that when booking using Tesco Clubcard points your ticket will give you single day entry rather than an Annual Pass.

When is Eden open?

We're open most days of the year except 25 December, some days in January and February when we undertake essential maintenance and staff training, and for very occasional private events at other times in the year. See our full opening hours to plan your visit. Occasionally we have to close our Biomes early, to give our plants a special treatment that keeps them healthy or for private events – you'll be able to see this on our opening times page.

How do I get to the Eden Project and is there parking?
