Join local author Elizabeth Dale at National Maritime Museum Cornwall for a journey through Falmouth’s hidden wartime history, from marauding enemy ships and explosive local accidents to comical Napoleonic encounters and forgotten German bombing raids. Discover some of the more unexpected and lesser-known tales of real events that unfolded in and around Falmouth Bay, spanning the 16th century through to the 1940s.

Doors open at 7pm, with drinks available from the Museum’s Waterside Cafe. Lecture starts at 7.30pm.
