Take a peek behind the scenes at Cotehele as the gardeners create this year’s Christmas garland, threading more than 30,000 dried flowers into a base of pittosporum.
On 9th November, you can watch the base take shape outside, then from 10th to 19th November the work moves into the Hall, where you’ll see the garland come to life. To give the gardeners space to work, the rest of the house is closed during this time (the whole house on 9th November, and every room except the Hall from 10th November), and the Hall may close briefly while scaffolding is moved.
Entry is included in normal admission, so you can simply turn up on the day.
