What visitors say

Frequently asked questions

Is your parking free?

Yes we have our own free car park, and on busy days, we have an adjacent field that we open up just two minutes from the entrance.

Are dogs allowed in?

Official guide dogs are welcome if the points below are observed for the safety of your dog and our birds. Please keep the dog on a lead and take it quickly away from any aviary where the birds over-react. Please be aware we will have birds flying free around the park at different times of day. Your dog must be under close control at all times (check the daily events timetable on the website). We will talk you through our requirements on arrival and tell you for instance if a particular species is at a delicate stage in its breeding cycle, or an event is unsuitable and ask you to avoid the area.

How long can we stay in the JungleBarn Play Centre?

You’re welcome to stay as long as you like. However, on a small number of exceptionally busy days during the school holidays, we may introduce a fair-use policy for the JungleBarn Play Centre. This helps ensure that every family has the opportunity to enjoy some indoor playtime. Thank you for your understanding.

Is your Park accessible to wheelchairs?

Most of our paths and areas are designed for easy access for wheelchair and scooter users. You’re welcome to bring your own mobility scooter or wheelchair, if you would like to borrow one of our mobility scooters please call the shop beforehand, so we can reserve it for you and have it sanitised and ready. Please see the website for the full access statement.
