Explore Trengwainton’s 25 acres through touch, listening and visual prompts throughout September. Run your hands over the herbs in the walled garden and smell their different fragrances; get a feel for the bark of the trees as you wander the wooded paths; listen for the sound of the wind in the tall bamboos or the gentle running of the streams.
Maybe you’ll be inspired to get creative with the art boxes that are dotted around the garden, or simply make the most of the sea views from the sunny Terrace, the different sections of the walled gardens and plants from around the world.
The garden is open 10am-5pm Sunday to Thursday (closed Fri/Sat). Admission is free for National Trust members, Non-member prices: Adult £13.00, child £6.50, under 5s free.
