Christmas at the Eden Project

Posted in Events by Lauren Webb on 14th November 2022

Join us to celebrate Christmas as only the Eden Project can, with an all-new immersive music and light experience, on selected dates from 2-30 December.

In celebration of the festive season, our Mediterranean Biome will be filled with an incredible immersive orchestra experience, featuring modern versions of some of our favourite Christmas tunes. We’ll have 11 live musicians across multiple stages throughout the Biome, weaving their sounds together to produce a harmonious and joyful sensory experience.

In the Rainforest Biome, see our spectacular plants and flowers as you never have before and follow a mystical journey through an enchanted wonderland. Marvel at breath-taking new light displays, featuring sparkling fairy lights, twinkling orbs and fibreoptic illusions, plus much more.

Our Outdoor Gardens will also be beautifully dressed for the festive season from the moment you step onto site. Don’t forget to visit the Plane Tree Steps to see our incredible light display, and don’t miss the return of our Tunnel of Lights on your way into the Link Building.

Complete your Christmas visit to Eden with a trip to meet Father Christmas and his newest helper Elfie, and don’t forget to book a session on our glittering ice rink.

*Our music and lights will take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 2-4 and 9-11 December. It will then run daily 15-23 December and 27-30 December. Our Father Christmas experience will run on selected dates and times between 2-24 December. Ice skating is available to book every day we’re open. Visit our opening times page for full details.

Please note, as per our health and safety standard operating procedure for late-opening nights, outdoor garden paths will be closed off to the public as the evening draws in. All main access pathways will be lit and accessible.
