Friday 6 to Saturday 28 September 2024, 11am to 4pm
Explore this gilded reliquary that houses memories of the past, precious objects of belonging, and dreams of far-away places. Artists, Melanie and Caroline, worked with members of the Women’s Institute to explore their connections to place, to Cornwall and the lands far beyond its borders and beaches. ‘This is Me’ is one of seventeen artworks produced for Hello Stranger, a Cornwall-wide community engagement programme created by Wildworks and supported by National Trust properties in Cornwall and the communities they serve. Starting its tour of Cornwall at Trerice, ‘This is Me’ will travel to share its stories with visitors at Trelissick, Cotehele, Pentire, and Godolphin until November 26, 2024.
The visual artwork is hosted within the Punch Room inside the house
The entrance to the house is located approximately 105m from Visitor Reception and is a mixture of gravel and cobble paths. There is a ramped entrance to the house. The room where the visual artwork is hosted is along the visitor route. There are three steps to climb to access this space.
