Have a cracking time on the Easter Golden Egg Challenge around Paradise Park, and when you have completed the quiz you can claim your yummy chocolate reward!
Enjoy wonderful wildlife in beautiful surroundings. Home to over 1,200 birds plus rare red pandas, red squirrels and playful Asian otters. You’ll meet stunningly colourful birds – including parrots, penguins, Caribbean Flamingos, Red-billed Cornish Choughs, Golden and Bald Eagles, toucans, hornbills and many more – at this award-winning wildlife sanctuary.
The huge indoor ‘JungleBarn’ play centre is fabulous fun whatever the weather. With giant slides, challenging soft play and toddlers’ zone it’s great fun for all the family. Please book the ‘Park & JungleBarn’ tickets to include this in your visit.
The fun otters and cute penguins will be fed a couple of times during the day, so you may well be lucky enough to be nearby when these animals are fed by the keepers.
Entrance staff are selling small bags of food for the Goats and Sheep on the Fun Farm. They have 150 little bags of ‘Goat and Sheep Food’ to sell at 50p each day.
On good weather days Zebedee the Jungle Express Train may be taken out for a spin! You board the train just by the otter enclosure and set off through the garden of Glanmor House, through the top section of Parrot Jungle, then behind the scenes around the back of the house. Please note it is just a small route round the house grounds (not round the whole Park), and so you go around twice giving you a chance to look around both sides. For train times please check when you arrive. There is a small charge of £1 per person.
Treat yourself to pasties, paninis and homemade delights from the Otter Pool Café menu with plenty of picnic tables and benches throughout the Park.
Wildlife conservation is at the heart of Paradise Park. The World Parrot Trust, based at the Park, has helped the survival of 80 species of parrot in 43 countries.
