Mums and family members are invited to join in the snowdrop planting at Paradise Park in Hayle between 11:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday 9 and Mothering Sunday 10 March 2024 with discounted entry.
You just need to be happy to use one of the trowels, plus they have a few kneelers available, to dig a hole to tuck in the ‘in the green’ snowdrop plants.
Treat your mum to a walk around the Park, spring flower planting and maybe a Cornish cream tea or homemade cake or other delights from the Otter Pool Café.

Director Alison explains “Snowdrops look beautiful and provide nectar for the first bees to emerge after the winter. Over the last few years, we have planted 8,000 snowdrops in the Woodland Walk area near the Fun Farm and it would be lovely to see you on Mother’s Day to help us add another 2,000 and make the carpet of white flowers even bigger next for February.”
