The nights are drawing in and the shadows are taking over. Come and join us for a spooky half term this October! Join in with the eerie shadow pirate puppet stories and songs in the Main Hall, create your own shadow puppets in Make & Take and join the Museum trail and find all the hidden pirate ghosts.

Ghost ships gliding on the foggy seas, a whale with a greedy appetite for pesky pirates and a menacing skeleton crew who lure unsuspecting sailors aboard their ship with … sausage sandwiches?!
This October half term take to the spooky high seas for eerie songs and ghostly shadow puppet stories in the Museum’s Main Hall.

How many hidden pirate ghosts will you find on the Museum Trail? Find as many as you can and claim your prize.
Explore 15 galleries over four floors, jump aboard boats, climb the 100-foot Lookout Tower, watch boat-building, go underwater in the Tidal Zone, discover stories of ocean adventures and survival, and sail miniature boats on the waterfront boat pool.
