The Cornish version of Halloween was Allantide which included the giving of allan apples as tokens of good luck. This October half term, enjoy a range of exciting harvest activities at Wheal Martyn. There will be lots on offer such as making autumn baskets, crowns and wreaths, basket weaving and painting bug houses or piskie doors!
On Monday 24 and 31 October join the Wheal Martyn team for some storytelling to learn about Cornish piskies, before making your very own piskie out of clay!
Wheal Martyn is will be hosting two workshops each day, a morning (11am-12:30pm) and afternoon session (2pm-3:30pm). Booking essential.
