May Half Term at Flambards

There will be a distinctly regal feel to Flambards as part of the spectacular May half term entertainment (Saturday 28 May – Sunday 5 June 2022) as the team join in with the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Visitors will be able to try their hand at crown making in honour of the Queen, who will have ruled the country for 70 years, besides a host of other special events.

The theme park will be open every day during the week and the packed schedule of entertainment begins with the Billy Wizz Magic Show on Tuesday, May 31.

Flambards’ famous Creepy Crawly Show will be staged on Thursday, June 2, before a day of celebration unfolds on Saturday, June 4.

There will be crown-making, live music and a giant picnic in the park, with costumed characters Ferdi the Fox and Flora the Chipmunk in situ to provide fantastic family fun.

Throughout half term week, firm favourites which will be in action including the Hornet Rollercoaster, SkyRaker, Thunderbolt and the splash-tastic Colorado River log flume.

The adrenaline-packed Sky-Force is guaranteed fun for thrill-seekers. The giant ‘white knuckle’ experience takes up to 40 people, 25 metres above the ground, exerting a force of up to 3G whilst simultaneously spinning 360 degrees.

Younger families will love the traditional rides in Ferdi’s Funland, including the Teacups, Space Shuttle and a new mini carousel. Go on an adventure and discover dinosaurs in the Jurassic Journey before uncovering fossils in the Dino Dig.

It will be all aboard the Western Mine Train too, which opened last year and takes passengers on a journey through the Wild West.

There’s plenty to see and do inside, including the atmospheric step back in time through the Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz reconstructions.
