Junior Keeper Experience

This is a truly unforgettable experience providing those young animal lovers in your life the chance to go behind the scenes and learn more about our amazing animals. As a junior keeper you will get involved in feeding and caring for some of our animals. Come ready to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and have some fun.

Available on Wednesdays and Sundays

Sample Itinerary:-  (Note itinerary is subject to change, depending on animal welfare, weather patterns and staffing on the day)

9.00am Meet the keeper, health and safety briefing
9.30am Prepare food for the lemurs & polecat
10.00am Feed the lemurs & polecat
10.30am Mid-morning snack
10.45am Meerkats – clean enclosure, prepare & deliver enrichment
12.30pm Feed and brush goats
1.00pm Finish

Cost is £100 per child and includes the experience, a cap, certificate and an item/items from the gift shop up to a value of £10 and entry to the Sanctuary for the rest of the day.

Small print:-

The child must be accompanied by one adult from the same household (free of charge)

One adult (free of charge) can accompany multiple children as long as they are still from the same household.

Up to 4 additional, non-participating guests may observe the Junior Keeper on site for a reduced entry rate of £10 per person.

Maximum of 6 people per session (this includes both children and accompanying adults).
