This annual event is a highlight in the local calendar; this swim is the length of Penzance Promenade – fantastic for spectators and participants alike.
2025 sees a new setup – with the addition of a ‘competitive race’ for swimmers completing the race in under 25 minutes. ‘The Original mile’ is still open to all, starting from Newlyn and ending at the Jubilee Pool slipway. Registration is from 14:00 – 16:20 in the shop.
