Femmes de la Mer are a 15 strong group of singers from across Cornwall. After a sell out tour supporting Ben Howard at Manchester O2 and Brixton Academy, they’ve recently launched their first album, Today’s Haul, a beautiful collection of shanties and songs of the sea. Femmes de la Mer are known for their rich harmonies and bold interpretations of well known traditional songs as well as newly written shanties celebrating the stories of Cornish women.
