Detritus of the Deep and the Washed-Up Mermaid

Monday – Friday, 11am, 1pm & 3pm.

Detritus of the Deep is a larger-than-life showman, king and master of the sea. Hear this gentle giant’s story of coastal adventures and watch as he magically conjures up wonders from Cornwall’s waters. His friend, the Washed-up Mermaid, sings of our seas and asks us a very important question – can we help them save our oceans?

Collect your Make & Take scroll for the next part of your adventure.

The show has been created by Hotch Potch Performance for National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Hotch Potch Performance are a Cornwall based outdoor arts company who create spectacular yet intimate works, with a passion for environmental awareness.
